Caulfield Guineas – 8th October
Take cue from eras gone by and embrace the prim and polished looks of the 20s and 50s with pretty and feminine pieces. Look to Zimmermann for full skirts with a botanical print and pair with fluid blouses from Lover. Or opt for a sweet floral dresses from Alannah Hill.

Caulfield Cup – 15th October

Choose pop brights and don’t be afraid to use block colours to really make a statement. The likes of Bianca Spender, Carla Zampatti and Lisa Ho are sure to delight with a range of pretty options in bold pinks, cobalt blues and sunny yellows.

Derby Day – 29th October
Tradition reigns supreme on this day and this season it’s all about white. Make texture the focus of all-white ensembles; whether it be through an elegant lace shift dress from Collette Dinnigan or a sheer, feminine piece by Thurley.

Melbourne Cup Day – 1st November
The style stakes are at their highest on Melbourne Cup Day so make a statement with colour and clashing prints. Look to Josh Goot for modern, voluminous shapes in whimsical brush strokes, Ginger and Smart for bold digital prints with a more fluid feel or Dion Lee for a structured block-colour dress.

Oaks Day – 3rd November
Add a hint of the Arabian Adventure trend to add an element of opulence to trackside dressing. Embellished tunic dresses by Trelise Cooper or gemstone inspired pieces by Carl Kapp will add flair to simple shapes.
